Official Rules

These Official Rules govern the Gridzy Daily Best Board contest (the "Contest") offered by Wrad Games LLC d/b/a Gridzy Sports ("Sponsor," "we," "us") on the Gridzy app and website at gridzysports.com. The Contest is also subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; if those and these Official Rules conflict on a Contest-specific point, these Official Rules control. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.

1. Contest overview

Each calendar day (Eastern Time), Gridzy runs the Daily Best Board promotion across every league offered in the app that day. The leagues on offer change with the sports calendar — as of this update they are the NFL, the NBA, the NHL, college football, MLB, the WNBA, professional tennis, and soccer, each while its season or tournament is running — and the app shows which are available on a given day. Players build a "board" of picks against that day's games in one of the available leagues and are scored against what actually happens. The single player with the best-scoring board that day, across every participating league combined and ranked per the rules below, wins that day's prize.

2. Eligibility

Open only to individuals who are (a) at least 18 years old at time of entry, and (b) legal residents of the United States and its states, excluding U.S. territories and possessions, at time of entry. Employees, contractors, and household members of Sponsor, and on-shift staff of a venue hosting a Gridzy game night, are not eligible to win a prize in a Contest tied to that venue's event. Void where prohibited by law. Entry constitutes agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final on all matters relating to the Contest, except as otherwise required by law.

The account holder wins. We verify identity, age and residence before any prize. To do that, we check the legal name, date of birth and confirmations on each claim, and compare the claim with claims on other accounts, before a prize is paid or shipped.

3. How to enter

Create a free Gridzy account, build a board of picks for an available league and day, answer that league's required tiebreaker question, and submit. No purchase, payment, or fee of any kind is required to enter or to be eligible to win. Submitting a board through the Service is the only way to enter; Sponsor does not offer a mail-in or alternative free entry method because entry already requires no purchase.

Entries into this Contest are limited as follows, counted over the boards you submit for a given day's slate:

  • Up to 2 boards per contest (a single league's single-day leaderboard).
  • Up to 3 boards per league per day, across that league's contests.
  • Up to 5 boards total per day, across all participating leagues combined.

Only your best-scoring board (by points, Section 4) counts toward a contest's leaderboard and toward the daily prize; submitting more boards within the caps above does not stack your chances beyond that. These caps apply to this free-to-enter Contest and are separate from venue-hosted game nights, which have their own entry limit set by the venue.

Voided picks and postponed games

A pick whose player is ruled out before the game starts is swapped for a similar pick from the same game; a pick that never plays is voided — it neither hits nor misses, and the rest of the board still counts. A postponed or cancelled game voids every square on it. No prize is paid on a board with no scored square.

Game picks, overtime and ties

In football, basketball, baseball and hockey, a pick on a game's result — a team to win, a point spread, run line or puck line, or a total — settles on the official final score, overtime included. In hockey that official score credits the shootout winner with one goal, so a shootout win counts as a win and that goal counts toward a total. In soccer, a game pick settles on the score at the end of regulation (the 90 minutes plus stoppage time); extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count. An NFL game that ends in a tie voids a pick on either team to win — it neither hits nor misses, and the rest of the board still counts. A pick on part of a football game — the 2nd half, the 3rd quarter or the 4th quarter, on a venue's Second Half board — settles on the points scored in that part of regulation only; overtime does not count.

4. How a winner is determined

No drawing or random selection decides a winner. Each board is scored solely on your skill in picking outcomes correctly against the games it covers, on a points scale with a maximum of 333 points:

  • Each correct pick scores by its difficulty tier, shown before you pick: 6 points (Easy), 9 (Medium), or 12 (Hard).
  • Each completed line — a full row, column, or diagonal of correct picks — scores 30 points.
  • A correct Big Pick (the board's center, headline pick) scores 4 bonus points.
  • All four corner picks correct scores 8 bonus points.
  • A pick that cannot be graded (for example, the player did not play or the game was not completed) scores zero and cannot complete a line; the rest of the board is scored normally.

League leaderboards. Within a league's daily contest, boards are ranked by points. If two or more players are tied on points, the tie is broken by whoever came closest to the correct numeric answer to that league's tiebreaker question, which you answer when you submit (for example, total runs in your Big Pick game for MLB, or your Big Pick player's round score for golf). Players still tied after the tiebreaker share the placement.

The daily prize. The day's prize (Section 5) goes to the highest-points board of the day across every participating league combined. Because tiebreaker questions differ by league, they are not used to compare boards across leagues: if two or more players' best boards are tied on points for the day, they are deemed co-winners and split that day's prize equally.

5. Prizes

The prize for the daily Contest is $10.00, awarded winner-take-all to the single highest-points board across all participating leagues that day. Boards entered in the NFL Gauntlet (Section 5a), a Gauntlet week's Touchdown board included, are not ranked for, and cannot win, the daily prize.

On some days the app also offers a Board of the Day: on Sundays from November 1, 2026, the Touchdown board, which from that date is not part of an NFL Gauntlet week, and on some college football Saturdays, a Top 25 spread board. A Board of the Day is its own Contest, with its own leaderboard and its own cash prize, shown on it (except on a sponsored day whose Section 5b block makes its prizes that day's only prizes): its boards are ranked under Section 4 (points, then the closest answer to its tiebreaker question; players still tied split its prize equally), and they are not ranked for, and cannot win, the daily prize.

On a sponsored day whose Section 5b block says its prizes are that day's only prizes, no daily prize and no Board of the Day cash prize is awarded for that day; on every other day, exactly one daily prize is awarded per day, across all participating leagues combined — not one prize per league per day, and there is no additional prize tier based on how many players enter. League daily leaderboards are published for standing and do not carry separate cash prizes. If two or more players are tied for the day's highest-points board under Section 4, they are deemed co-winners and split that day's prize equally.

Approximate retail value of a cash prize equals its cash amount. No substitution or transfer of a cash prize is permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries that day and each entrant's skill.

The perfect-board hat

The first 100 different players to post a perfect board — all nine picks correct on any board entered under these Official Rules — each win one Gridzy Sports hat, a cap with an approximate retail value of $30, in addition to any cash prize that board wins. It is one hat per player, not per board. One hat per person and household. To receive it, the winner enters a U.S. shipping address in the app, and Sponsor ships the hat to that address at no charge. The hat is awarded as described; no substitution. If it is unavailable, Sponsor provides it within 30 days or pays the winner that stated retail value, as Georgia law requires.

5a. The NFL Gauntlet (Sundays)

On Sundays during the NFL season, Gridzy also runs the NFL Gauntlet, a free-to-enter contest alongside the Daily Best Board. Each Sunday the Gauntlet has four board types — 1 Big Pick, Touchdown, Pick 4 and Primetime — each built against that Sunday's NFL games, and you may submit one board of each type, up to four boards. No purchase, payment, or fee is required to enter any Gauntlet board.

Each board locks separately. A Pick 4 or 1 Big Pick board needs at least two games and locks at the kickoff of the earliest game on that board. You may build either one from any of that Sunday's games that has not yet started — including Sunday Night Football — for as long as at least two of those games are still to start, which means no later than the last Sunday-afternoon kickoff; then that board type closes for the week. Primetime is built on Sunday Night Football alone and locks at its kickoff. A Touchdown board is nine anytime-touchdown picks; it locks at the kickoff of the earliest game on it, and it can be submitted until the closing time posted for it that Sunday or until fewer than three of that Sunday's games are still to start, whichever comes first.

Scoring. Each Gauntlet board is scored the same way as a Daily Best Board (Section 4). Your combined score is the total of your best three Gauntlet boards that Sunday — the three highest-scoring of your up to four boards, your Touchdown board included — and is ranked on the Gauntlet's own leaderboard, separate from the Daily Best Board leaderboards. Each Gauntlet board, the Touchdown board included, carries its own tiebreaker question, answered when you submit that board. If two or more players' combined scores are tied, the tie is broken using the boards counted in each player's combined score: each counted board's miss (how far its answer was from the correct number) is measured against the size of its own question's range of allowed answers, so a miss on the field-goal question and a miss on the touchdowns question count on the same scale. The misses of a player's counted boards are then taken together as an average; the smallest average wins the tie, and players still tied after that share the placement. A counted board with no tiebreaker answer counts as a miss of the whole range. A counted board whose correct number is not available (for example, because a game's box score cannot be read) is left out of that player's average; a player none of whose counted boards can be measured ranks behind the tied players who have an average, and shares the placement with any other such player.

Prizes. Each week the app posts, on that week's Gauntlet page and on the Gauntlet's Play and Leaders screens, which prizes the week's Gauntlet pays and the amount of each. These Official Rules do not fix the amounts: the amounts posted for a week are the ones that apply to that week. A week's prizes can include:

  • a prize for the highest-scoring board of each board type — 1 Big Pick, Touchdown, Pick 4 and Primetime — with each board type ranked on its own, on the points of each player's board of that type; and
  • a prize on the combined score (a player's best three of their Gauntlet boards added together) for first place or, in a week whose posted prizes are paid to several places, for each posted place.

Each posted prize is awarded at most once per week, to the top qualifying score, and is not awarded in a week with no qualifying board of its type; a player may win more than one of them. Players tied for a posted prize or place split that prize equally; on a board type, players tied on points are first separated by whose answer to that board's tiebreaker question was closest. A prize whose tie cannot yet be decided because a correct number is not yet available is held until it is. The amounts posted for the Gauntlet's prizes step up once 25 players, and again once 50 players, have entered that week's Gauntlet (a player who has submitted any Gauntlet board, a Touchdown board included, counts as entered; Sponsor's admin accounts are not counted); the app shows the amounts currently posted and how many more players unlock the next step. Each player may submit one Touchdown board per Sunday, as with each other board type. Gauntlet boards, the Touchdown board included, do not count toward, and are not counted by, the entry limits in Section 3, which apply only to the Daily Best Board. Nor are they ranked for the daily prize in Section 5: a Gauntlet board, the Touchdown board included, cannot win the daily prize.

5c. Venue game days

Venue game days. A venue game day is a Contest tied to a bar or venue named on its Game Day page (gridzysports.com/venue/ followed by the venue's name). That venue is the Prize Sponsor of record for that Contest, and the Contest is conducted by Wrad Games LLC d/b/a Gridzy Sports (“Promoter”, called “Sponsor” elsewhere in these Rules; contact details in Section 13). A venue game day's boards are ranked for that venue's prizes only, not for the daily prize in Section 5.

The prizes. The venue funds and awards its own prizes: food items, food or non-alcoholic-drink credit from its own menu, or merchandise. A venue prize is never cash and never alcohol. The prizes and the number of places that win one are shown in the room and on the venue's page. A prize is awarded exactly as shown, with no substitution: if it is unavailable, the venue provides it, or an item of the same or greater retail value from its own menu or merchandise, within 30 days. Gridzy never holds, pays or ships a venue prize, and the cash and sponsor-shipped prize terms of Section 5 and the delivery terms of Section 6 do not apply to it.

Who wins. Boards are scored and ranked under Section 4. The winners are the podium places shown in the room once the Contest reads SETTLED (final) on the venue's host screen, not the live standings, which can still change until the games are final.

Claiming. A winner claims in person at the venue by showing the claim code on their phone, which matches the code the room shows beside their name, within 14 days of the Contest settling unless the venue's page shows a longer window. A prize that is not claimed in that window stays with the venue.

Ties. The closest-answer tiebreaker in Section 4 comes first. Players who are still tied each receive that place's prize. If the venue posts a different tie rule in the room before the Contest starts, that rule applies instead.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A venue game day is free to play and to win, and buying anything at the venue does not improve a player's chances. The venue's owners and staff, and their households, are not eligible to win that venue's prizes (Section 2). You must be 18 or older, as Section 2 says; a venue may also keep its door at 21 or older, which is the venue's own rule.

Game days. The venue game days under these Rules so far:

  • Saturday, October 24, 2026 (ET): Jolene Jolene, Atlanta, GA — WNBA Finals Game 4 (two rounds, Full Game and Second Half, one prize each).
  • Sunday, October 25, 2026 (ET): Little 5 Pub, Little Five Points, Atlanta, GA — NFL Sunday (one contest; up to three podium prizes).
  • Sunday, November 1, 2026 (ET): Little 5 Pub, Little Five Points, Atlanta, GA — NFL Sunday (one contest on the 4 PM games: Chargers @ Rams, Chiefs @ Broncos and Patriots @ Dolphins; the best board wins a prize from Little 5 Pub).

Venue screens show usernames, scores and placements as described in Section 8.

6. Winner notification and prize delivery

The day's winner is determined automatically once the last of that day's contests settles — after its games are final and grading, including a short stat-correction delay, completes. A cash prize is credited to the winner's in-app balance, and the credit appears in the app on the day's leaderboard and in the winner's balance and transaction history. We do not currently send winner notifications by email.

A winner claims a prize in the app, and a sponsor’s prize within 15 days of the contest’s settlement. The claim confirms that the winner is 18 or older (19 in AL and NE, 21 in MS), lives in the US and is the account holder, and gives the winner’s legal name and date of birth.

A winner who is ineligible or silent forfeits to the next eligible finisher. A prize passes on to at most two alternates in turn, and it is never paid to a parent or to anyone else in a winner’s place.

The account holder wins. We verify identity, age and residence before any prize. To do that, we check the legal name, date of birth and confirmations on each claim, and compare the claim with claims on other accounts, before a prize is paid or shipped. We pay a claimed cash prize by hand to the payment-app handle on the claim and may ask for other delivery details and, where Section 7 applies, tax information before paying. Questions about a claim: email [email protected] from the address on your account.

7. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes on their prize. Prizes at or above the IRS reporting threshold may require tax information (such as a completed IRS Form W-9) before payment, and Sponsor may report such winnings to tax authorities as the law requires. Sponsor does not collect tax forms inside the app; if a payout requires one, Sponsor will contact the winner.

8. Publicity

By entering, you agree that Sponsor may display your username, display name, score, and contest placement on public leaderboards within the Service and, for venue-hosted game nights, on screens at the venue, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Except as stated in this section, entering does not require you to grant Sponsor any right to use your name, image, or likeness for advertising or promotional purposes without your separate consent.

9. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify any entry or player it reasonably believes was obtained through the prohibited conduct described in our Terms of Service — including multiple-account play, VPN or location spoofing, automation, or collusion between players — or that otherwise violates these Official Rules. Sponsor may withhold or reclaim a prize already awarded if it later determines the winning entry was ineligible. Sponsor's decisions on eligibility, scoring, and disqualification are final, except as otherwise required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for: technical failures of any kind, including malfunctions of any network, hardware, or software; late, lost, misdirected, or garbled entries; or errors in game data, statistics, or results supplied by third-party sports data providers. Sponsor's total liability to any entrant arising out of the Contest will not exceed the value of the prize for which that entrant was eligible. See our Terms of Service for the general limitation of liability that also applies to your use of the Service.

11. Governing law

This Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Any provision of these Official Rules found unenforceable will be severed without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions.

12. Winners list

For the name of the winner of a specific day's Contest, send a self-addressed request by email to [email protected] within 90 days of that Contest's date, specifying the league and date requested.

14. Social media platforms

The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, X Corp. or YouTube (Google LLC). By entering, you release each of them from any and all liability in connection with the Contest. Direct any question, comment or complaint about the Contest to Sponsor (Section 13), not to a social media platform.
